Granger & Lansing Delaying Trash Collection

City of Lansing Trash and Recycling Collections delayed due to recent storm.
Due to the recent storm, as well as the Christmas holiday, the curbside collection of trash and recycling will be delayed starting Monday, December 23rd. Monday collections will be done on Tuesday, Tuesday's on Thursday, Wednesday's on Friday and Thursday collections will be done on Saturday.
Additionally the CART office will be closed on Dec. 24th and 25th in observance of the holiday.
Residents contracting with private refuse haulers are urged to check with their collection companies for possible schedule changes.

Granger Inclement Weather Service Changes
LANSING---- The majority of Granger residential trash and recycling collections will not take place on Monday, December 23. Power line and tree damage has made many roads unsafe for travel. As a result, collections are cancelled. Extra trash and recyclables will be collected on your next service day, December 30.
Residential customers in the Alma, St. Louis and Mt. Pleasant areas should not be affected. All other customers in mid-Michigan will not have service.
Service will be provided to commercial customers as conditions allow.
As a reminder, trash and recycling collections will be delayed by one day Wednesday and each day for the remainder of the week due to the Christmas Day holiday. Friday collections will take place Saturday.
Granger will make assessments for safe travel of roads on a daily basis. Please check our website at for updates.
