Some buildings on the campus of Grand Valley State University in West Michigan have been evacuated following a gas line break.

The Allendale school said in a statement on its website that the Kirkhof Center and the Mary Idema Pew Library Learning and Information Commons were evacuated Tuesday morning.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The break happened about 8:45 a.m. when an irrigation company struck a main gas line. The school says the buildings will remain closed until further notice.
