GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- A western Michigan judge is losing his patience with a man who says he weighs 625 pounds and can't get to court.

Jeffery Klein is charged with making a false bomb threat at a mobile home park in Kent County in 2012. He's missed many court hearings over the past two years and, in a letter, told a Kent County judge that he can't leave his Grand Rapids home because of his size.

The Grand Rapids Press (http://bit.ly/1xPuB1m) says Judge Dennis Leiber told attorneys Friday that Klein must come to court as soon as possible. Defense lawyer Damian Nunzio says he's never seen his 44-year-old client walk.

He believes Klein would need an ambulance and then be placed on a freight elevator to get to the courthouse's 10th floor.
