Gov. Rick Snyder is giving no indication of what, if anything, he'll do with Aramark's contract.
The prison contractor is under fire after maggots were found in and around food in prisons. Other issues include not enough food being prepared, and employees having sexual encounters with inmates.
Some state lawmakers want to end Aramark's contract, but the governor isn't rushing into anything.
"We're making a full review of that," Gov. Snyder said Tuesday. "I would say over the next week or two, we're having lots of discussions with the department on that issue."
Aramark says it finds it suspicious that there are so many similar reports so close together, and suggests those reports may be fueled by prison employee unions who want Aramark out.
