Governor Snyder has signed a new bill into law cracking down on firing guns.
Prosecutors will no longer have to prove that the gunshots put anyone in danger during a drive-by shooting or inside a building, in order for the shooter to get a higher penalty.
The bills also increase the maximum penalty, which varies depending on the degree of risk or injuries caused.
