Texas Governor Rick Perry turning himself into authorities today in Austin.
The governor was fingerprinted and took a mugshot photo.
He has been indicted on two felony counts of abuse of power.
Perry is facing charges of coercion and official oppression that carry a maximum sentence of 109 years in prison.
The charges come after he threatened to veto funding for a public integrity unit led by Democratic district attorney, Rosemary Lehmberg, when she refused to resign after a DUI arrest.
Perry says he plans to fight the charges, saying they're politically motivated.
He was released after the booking.
