Governor Rick Snyder says more lawmakers are thinking about increasing the amount of money being spent on Roads. A plan in the house calls for 500-million dollars each year, far less than the governor had called for.
The governor said, he's talked with some legislators who now think 500-million dollars may not be enough.
"I've always called for more revenue. To the degree that people are open-minded to that, I think that's very much a positive. I was out talking to people, our citizens, with legislators and there's a lot of interest in seeing more revenue" said Governor Snyder.
WILX caught up with Governor Snyder at the annual "Giving and Volunteering Day Celebration" in Lansing.
