With 26,000 signatures from all of Michigan's 83 counties, Republican Governor Rick Snyder officially kicked off his reelection campaign, Thursday morning. He was accompanied by more than 50 volunteers.
Gubernatorial candidates need at 15,000 and can turn in as many as 30,000 petition signatures for a run. Democrat Mark Schauer will be the challenger in November.
