UPDATE: Both Holt High School and the 9th grade campus were closed this morning due to the power outage. No other buildings were closed.
HOLT - A goose is blamed for a power outage in Holt this morning. Power was lost to about 500 customers in Holt, including the school buildings, at about 7:30AM, when a goose flew into electric lines. Power was restored at 8:40AM. News 10 has received indications that some schools were closed, but we have not been able to reach anyone with the school district to confirm this. Stay with wilx.com and News 10 for updates.
