Globetrotters to Honor Olivet Football Team

A football team that designed a scoring play for a special needs student is being honored once more tonight.

The Harlem Globetrotters will present the 8th grade Olivet Eagles football team with its Junior Phenom award Friday night at the Breslin Center.

Its the latest reward for the players' selflessness, which only took a few seconds to complete Oct. 5.

Running back Sheridan Hedrick stopped short of a sure touchdown and took a knee, allowing the players to run the "Keith Special," a play they designed for 95-pound Keith Orr. Orr, who has behavioral and learning disabilities scored his first touchdown and was carried off the field on his teammates shoulders after the game.

Tonight at eleven, News 10's Lorne Fultonberg catches up with the team.
