 GM says the paint shop will create or save around 150 jobs.

 

Work started today on a new energy-efficient and eco-friendly General Motors paint shop in Flint.
It'll use new sealers and coatings that are more-resistant to corrosion.
It's also expected to cut natural gas use by 20 percent, electricity by 40 percent and the amount of paint sludge sent to landfills by 90 percent.
GM says the paint shop will create or save around 150 jobs.
