Corporations and limited liability companies in other states are getting official-looking letters saying that they need to pay $60 for a certificate of good standing to operate.
It hasn't happened here yet, but if it does, the state says those certificates are not required and only cost ten dollars if you want one. Anyone who receives one of those letters should ignore it.
