Four Wounded in Shooting Near WMU

Multiple people have been shot at an apartment complex near Western Michigan University near Kalamazoo.

Hours after the shots were fired, there is still a heavy public safety presence.

Investigators have been combing for evidence at the Campus Habitat Apartments.

Four people were shot, in all.

Officers say they found two 20-year-old men with bullet wounds to the legs.

A short time after, a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg turned up at Bronson Medical Center along with a woman who had been shot in the rear end.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says none of the victims were WMU students.
