A home for the military abandoned for years in Lansing was first revitalized as a modern business home for a number of non-profits. Now it's a historical landmark. The Marshall Street Armory was recognized Thursday for both its past and present accomplishments. "We're just excited, the military served our country and our community out of this building for 83 years and now we have the nonprofits here serving our country, our community, it's kind of fitting," said developer Pat Gillespie. The Michigan Historical Commission marks places to serve as a reminder of a site's historical importance.
