GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids is among the institutions in Michigan affected by the partial government shutdown.
The museum and the presidential library in Ann Arbor are part of the federal National Archives and Records Administration, which is closing most of its facilities Tuesday.
The museum in Grand Rapids is a venue for the ongoing ArtPrize competition and has four of the Top 10 entries on display. Two of the Top 10 entries are outside and aren't affected.
MLive.com reports museum officials are working on a plan to make all entries available for public view.
