Flint Woman Says $15,000 in Guns Stolen from Home

FLINT, Mich. (AP) -- A woman told Flint police $15,000 worth of shotguns was stolen from her home in the city.

According to a police report, the woman says she left her home Tuesday afternoon, and when she returned a short time later she found the back door open.

The woman went inside and found the living room window open and five of her shotguns missing.

Police say none of the guns were registered, and the woman didn't have any model or serial numbers available.

The Flint Journal reports the woman estimated the price of the guns to be $15,000.
