LANSING - A firefighter fell through the floor of a home while battling a blaze in Lansing Tuesday morning. The firefighter was not injured.
The fire destroyed the two-story home in the 1600 block of Donora Street. Crews were called to the fire at about 6:30a.m.
No one was home at the time, and a fire department spokesperson says one person was displaced and is being assisted by the Red Cross.
A neighboring home received external damage from the heat of the fire.
It took about an hour-and-a-half for the firefighters to put down the flames.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
