The Spring Arbor Twp. man charged in the shooting death of his son claims he did it in self-defense.
Eldon Huffman, 64, was granted bond Thursday. He will wear a tether while he waits for his preliminary exam, which is scheduled for next week.
Huffman was arrested last week, after police say he shot his son, Jared Huffman, at the home they shared on Ken Drive.
