(WEYI) Police in Flint, Michigan have made three arrests and two children are in protective custody after video of a brutal beating was posted on Facebook.
Three Flint residents have been charged with child abuse. The Genesee County prosecutor's office announced Tuesday that the boy's mother and two other adults each face three felony child abuse accounts in the case.
In the six-minute video an 11-year-old boy is smacked in the face and hit with a belt more than 50 times.
At least three adults watch the lashings, saying on the video the boy is being punished for having false information on his Facebook page.
