Airport spokeswoman Nicole Noll tells wilx.com the Cessna 177 lost power during takeoff on the main runway. It landed with the nose gear down on the west end of the runway at 7:10pm. The three people on-board were able to walk away from the plane, but later taken to a hospital to be checked out for back pain.

The plane was removed from the main runway about two and a half hours later. Small planes were able to use the other runways during while crews cleared the scene.
