A stabbing investigation led Lansing police to a home on the 1300 block of Roosevelt Avenue, Sunday morning

Lansing police were called to Sparrow St. Lawrence Hospital around 3:30 a.m., Sunday, where a woman was receiving treatment after being stabbed.

The following investigation led police to a home on the 1300 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Police say a male suspect was inside the house with four kids and wouldn't come out. However, over a series of phone calls and PA announcements, he was talked out.

The suspect is now under arrest for felonious assault, while the woman is receiving treatment for minor injuries. The four children were unharmed and are with relatives at home.
