The Michigan State Police Lansing post rolled out the new EZ Child ID Program in the Lansing area.
Each child received 10 fingerprint, 4 self portraits and a video, audio recording.
This critical information is used for The Amber Alert System if the child is ever abducted or goes missing.
The parent received a CD with all the child information on it.
No information is saved or maintained by the MSP. All information is retained by the parent in case of an emergency.
