Domestic Violence Victims to Benefit from Donation

A recent fundraiser at the Barry-Eaton District Health Department will help victims of domestic violence.

Employees raised $700 during a Casual Friday fundraiser and donated the money to the SIREN/Eaton shelter.

The shelter helps domestic violence victims with temporary housing, support and education, among other things. Other services include a confidential, 24-hour crisis line and a food, clothing, furniture and household item bank. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
