The Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) is excited to announce that four Tibetan Spaniels and three Afghan Hounds are now available for adoption from local cruelty cases. These dogs were rescued from homes where they lived in deplorable conditions. Two separate local veterinarians have been convicted of animal cruelty in these extreme cases.

"CAHS is pleased to have been able to provide the necessary treatment, rehabilitation and love needed to these dogs during their transitions," said Julia Palmer, President and CEO of Capital Area Humane Society. "We're excited to announce that the dogs are ready to be adopted into fantastic new forever homes!"

Anyone interested in adopting these sweet dogs, can visit Capital Area Humane Society during their open business hours of Monday-Friday noon-7pm or Saturday noon-5pm. The shelter is located at 7095 West Grand River Avenue in Lansing.
