Three men charged with attempted murder in a mob attack on a Detroit-area motorist are returning to court.
The hearing Thursday in Wayne County Circuit Court comes a day after a teen pleaded guilty to assault. Another defendant pleaded guilty to assault Monday.
Steve Utash, a 54-year-old tree trimmer from Macomb County, was attacked after accidentally striking a 10-year-old child with his pickup truck in Detroit. He was in a coma for days and spent six weeks in hospitals before his release in May.
Latrez Cummings, James Davis and Wonzey Saffold are due in court for an appearance in front of Judge James Callahan.
