Pet owners in Jackson County will get the chance to weigh in on an ordinance that would require owners of dangerous pets to carry liability insurance on their animals.
Last month, the County Board of Commissioners gave preliminary approval to the ordinance.
This comes after a string of pitbull attacks last year in the Jackson area.
Public comments will be heard during tonight's County Board of Commissioners meeting at 7p.m in the Jackson County tower building.
