DNR Stocks Red Cedar River with Steelhead

The state Department of Natural Resources wants more people to fish in the Red Cedar River, so it dumped more than 3,000 Steelhead into the river Tuesday. MSU trustees amended an ordinance last year allowing hook-and-line fishing within a designated stretch of the Red Cedar for the next three years. The DNR's fisheries division handled the stocking.
