PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) The Oakland County sheriff's office says it is investigating a possible murder-suicide in Pontiac.
According to a news release, deputies on Sunday afternoon found the bodies of a 30-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man in the upstairs bedroom of a home. Both suffered gunshot wounds to the head.
The sheriff's office says a 16-year-old who lives at the house told deputies that his aunt and her husband were in the bedroom arguing for over an hour. He then heard two gunshots.
The boy found that the couple had been shot, ran to a relative's home and called 911.
The sheriff's news release says that a preliminary investigation finds the case to be a murder-suicide pending a ruling by the medical examiner's office.
