A Jackson area plastic surgeon says he wanted his billboard to be humorous. Somebody wasn't laughing.

Ann Arbor plastic surgery's billboard in the 700 block of Brown Street was spray painted over the weekend.

The original message on the board was "Friends don't let friends muffin top". That was painted over and "You're Beautiful" was painted on it instead. The billboard was put up this spring, and was the subject of criticism on the practice’s Facebook page.

Dr. Pamit Malhotra says he's comfortable with the message and intends to put the billboard back up. He also says a police report will be filed.
