Consumers Energy is sending more of its workers to help with storm recovery in Ohio.
Thursday morning, 30 workers will leave for Cleveland to help First Energy restore power lines downed by the remnants of what had been Hurricane Sandy. The team will include 10 line worker crews, support personnel and supervisors. They will also take specialized equipment with them.
Earlier this week, about 30 workers were sent to the Detroit area to help DTE Energy restore power in southeastern Michigan.
That's all in addition to about 280 Consumers employees and contractors that were sent to Maryland to help with Sandy relief.
