Proposal would bring 120 teens to Vassar, over the objections of many people in the small town.

By year's end, 90,000 children without parents are expected in the US from Central America.

Another step today that would send some of the thousands of illegal immigrants from Central America to Michigan. Wolverine Human Services in Vassar near Saginaw is offering to take up to 120 teens for up to four weeks at a time while they are either immigration courts or waiting to be returned to their home countries. Many people in Vassar are against it and protested a town hall meeting Wednesday night.
