As Clinton County repeats as one of the healthiest counties in Michigan, Sparrow Clinton Hospital is celebrating more than $1.6 million in donations for its new Emergency Services Department.
Construction on the 10,000 square foot, $5.7 million facility has been going on since October and it's expected to open in August. Hospital Foundation Director Pete Shannon tells News 10, the extra space will allow the hospital to better support a growing number of patients.
The latest county health rankings, from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Program also have Clinton County as the third-healthiest county in the state.
