Community Comes Out to Support Sexton High After Shooting

Students returned to Sexton High school this morning to a show of support, following Tuesday's shooting only a few blocks from the school. Three students were shot in a driveby.
Those students are still recovering this morning but are expected to be okay. In the mean time, the rest of the student body will be returning to the classroom today.
Superintendent of Lansing Schools Yvonne Caamal Canul said that yesterday's act of violence is every educators worst nightmare. She also said that Sexton High School is a safe environment for students, and school will continue as normal today, as police still search for a suspect. She was present this morning to welcome kids.
