There may be a silver lining to this winter's frigid weather after all.
The Jackson County and Ingham County Sheriff's Offices say they see fewer calls for service whenever the weather gets colder, but months of frigid temperatures have made this winter even slower.
Plus, the Sheriff's Office says the snow can make it easier to solve the crimes that are committed.
