The City of Mason has declared a weather emergency. Citizens are being asked to stay in their homes and only travel if absolutely necessary.

Numerous tree limbs are falling and down, blocking roads and knocking down electrical wires.

The city reports that roads in the Mason area have heavy ice and walking and driving are hazardous.

If you have a medical, fire or police emergency, call 911.

Public works crews will be clearing the streets of debris during the daylight hours and as temperatures warm.
