Celebrating National Catfish Month with Easy Recipe

Lansing, MI - Catfish is the fourth most popular fish in the United States. But, it can be difficult to perfect a recipe that your entire family will eat.

That's why News 10 visited Texas Roadhouse to learn a new recipe that makes perfecting catfish simple.

All you need is cornmeal, salt, pepper and of course, catfish fillets. Texas Roadhouse says after you coat the catfish in the mix of cornmeal, salt and pepper, you can put the fillets in the oven or in the fryer for 8 to 10 minutes.

You can add other seasonings to make the fish taste more flavorful. But, they warn that since catfish is a mild tasting whitefish, adding too much seasoning can easily overpower the meal.
