Capital Area District Library Millage Renewal on August Ballot

The Capital Area District Libraries are hoping voters will renew a four-year operating millage in August. The money will be used to buy print and digital books and magazines, provide internet access and fund educational programs. The owners of a house worth $100,000 would continue to pay $78 a year in property taxes if the millage is renewed. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
