With Election Day just around the corner, both the Romney and Obama campaigns are forecasting a win in Michigan. However, there can only be one winner and both campaigns have gone into overdrive in the days leading up to November 6.

"We've had 22 victory centers open since April, we're now up to 25 victory centers and we open them due to need," said Kelsey Knight, Michigan Victory Communications Director for the Romney Campaign. "We've had people making phone calls, we've knocked on a million doors, we're doing things in Michigan that we've never done before."

At the Obama victory center in Lansing, campaign signs line the walls while volunteers call countless voters. Valerie Smith says personal contact with the voters is key.

"We believe in personal one-on-one contact and not robo calls," said Smith. "We talk to all of our people and try to talk to them in person, on the phone and on the street."

For the Romney campaign, personal contact means getting the republican candidate's message out to as many people as possible.

"The phone calls make a difference and knocking on doors," said Knight. "When you are face-to-face and you're saying to someone, 'Listen, these are the issues. Are you better off today than you were four years ago?'"

Both campaigns are also passing out pieces of literature, including cards with information on both the partisan and non-partisan parts of the ballot.

"It just reminds them about the time the polls open and where their polling location is," said Smith.

No matter who America elects on Tuesday, both sides can agree, the main goal is for people to 'get-out-the-vote'.

"I hope everyone takes advantage of the fact that we get to vote and we have that right," said Knight.

"We all need to exercise those rights and vote," said Smith. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
