Cadillac ATS Gets Top Marks for Safety

By  |

A mid-Michigan made car is one of seven getting top marks for how safe it is.

The Cadillac ATS got a superior rating from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety for its high-tech features designed to prevent front-end collisions.

The car uses radar, cameras, sensors and computers to spot objects and warn the driver, and can even put the brakes on automatically if they sense a collision.

A total of 74 vehicles from the 2013 and 2014 model years were tested.
