CATA Wants Ideas on Rapid Transit

CATA wants to hear what you have to say about its BRTP or the Bus Rapid Transit Project.

The first of four community forums was Monday at the Foster Community Center.

Business owners, employers, students and visitors are all encouraged to tell CATA what they'd like to see.

"These stakeholder meetings are so they can send us their ideas for what they would like," said Sandy Draggoo, CATA CEO. "For bikes, for safety, for walking, for however they would like to see this take place."

Tuesday's meetings are at the Radisson in Lansing and the People's Church in East Lansing.
