An event at U-of-M this weekend will provide some valuable insight to women whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.
Experts from the university's Breast Care Center are holding a summit to discuss risks, treatment and research. It will also include information for women currently being treated for breast cancer, cancer survivors and those at high risk of the disease.
The Breast Cancer Summit will be held on Saturday, April 12, from 10am-3pm, at the University of Michigan North Campus Research Complex.
"Ask the Expert" stations and exhibitor booths will be available during lunch, giving women a chance to gather more information.
There is free bus transit to this event from East Lansing and Jackson for women who may need a ride. If interested, call Lori at 517-886-4901, extension 1.
