RICHMOND, Mich. (AP) -- The body of a 22-year-old woman was found on the sidewalk outside a pharmacy in the Detroit suburb of Richmond.
Police Chief David Teske tells The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens a passer-by going to the drug store found the woman's body at about 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The chief says police are "investigating it as a suspicious death," and they won't release the woman's name until her family is contacted.
According to Teske, the woman was "not clothed to be outside in the elements," noting she wasn't wearing a hat, jacket or gloves.
The National Weather Service says the temperature was 1 degree overnight.
Teske says an autopsy will be conducted either Sunday or Monday.
