An unwanted and unsightly donation bin left in front of a business in Lansing has been removed just days after wilx.com covered the story. The owners of Capital Auto Care on Grand River Avenue called News 10 Tuesday morning to let say the bin was gone. It was supposed to be for clothes but people had been leaving mattresses, furniture, TVs and trash.
The bin belongs to the Childhood Disease Research Foundation. The auto shop owners don't know who took it away but both they and their neighbors are happy.
