Beef prices are up 2% from last year, and will likely go up according to USDA.

OKEMOS (WILX)-- Beef is selling at record retail prices in Michigan and across the nation.

Farmers are blaming supply and demand. Herd sizes are at a record low after the 2012 summer drought, while the demand for beef remains high.

News Ten's tells us how much USDA predicts prices will go up, and when the price is expected to fall tonight at five.
