BWL Customers Lose Power During Storm

Some electricity customers of the Board of Water and Light have already lost power as a storm moves across Mid-Michigan.

A spokesperson for the company said 2,493 customers were in the dark for about 12 minutes Wednesday morning, just before 11:00 a.m. All now have their power back.

The company said the cause of the outage is unknown, and the BWL regrets any inconvenience caused to customers.

On Wednesday the BWL sent out a notice reminding folks outages are possible because of the forecasted thunderstorms, strong winds, snow and freezing rain.
