The Lansing Board of Water and Light Board of Commissioners will hold a public meeting next week to discuss the restoration process after last month's ice storm.
Tuesday's meeting will be held at BWL Headquarters in Reo Town, located at 1201 S. Washington Avenue in Lansing at 5:30pm.
The main reason for the meeting is to address customers' concerns about the BWL's restoration efforts following the ice storm that hit the weekend of December 21.
According to an agenda set to WILX, the governing board will discuss several things, including a request for General Manager Peter Lark to establish two independent review teams-- one for the outage response and another for the communications response. They will also discuss a possible credit for customers affected by the power outages and the emergency/crisis communication plan.
Board members will also take public comment on the issues. The meeting starts at 5:30pm.
