FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities are trying to find out whether road rage led to a fatal crash on Interstate 75 in southeastern Michigan.
The Monroe Evening News and WWJ-AM report that a silver pickup truck reportedly hit a trailer being pulled by a red pickup truck on Tuesday night. Investigators say that caused the red truck to crash. A passenger in the red truck was ejected and then run over by the silver truck.
The name of the man who died after being run over wasn't immediately released.
Authorities say the two drivers involved didn't know each other but got into a dispute earlier on another roadway. The trailer being hauled was carrying a classic car.
Authorities questioned the driver of the silver pickup truck. The crash was under investigation.
