LANSING TOWNSHIP -- Waverly Schools officials have confirmed to News 10: 13-year-old middle school student Trevor Wesley is the boy killed in a two-car crash Saturday in Lansing Township.
Police say the crash took place at 3:05 p.m. at the intersection of W. Saginaw Street and Bon Air Road, when a 65-year-old Lansing man traveling eastbound on Saginaw collided with a southbound SUV on Bon Air.
Wesley was in that SUV, driven by a 46-year-old woman. He died on the scene.
Waverly School District officials tell News 10 they will make grief counselors available to students Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at the middle school.
All others involved in the crash were treated for minor injuries.
