Former Army Ranger Runs in Honor of Lacey

How was your morning run today? Imagine running in 90-degree temperatures for four days straight. That's exactly what a former Army Ranger did to raise money for the "Jimmy V Foundation."

And he did it in honor of Princess Lacey.

Alex Estrella of Miami says he was inspired by Lacey Holsworth and the battle she lost to cancer in march. The 55-year old ran 170 miles from Miami to Key West over the weekend. Most of the run he was carrying a 90-pound rucksack on his back. He arrived at the finish line around noon Monday. The "Jimmy V Foundation" says all of the money raised will be given towards pediatric research in memory of Lacey. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
