The Ingham County Animal Shelter is looking for tips regarding a dog that was found on January 11. The dog had been tied up under a bridge. The shelter says they have reason to believe that it had been under the bridge for several days.
The dog had signs of frost bite, and injuries to their head and leg. At the time of its rescue, the dog was having difficulty standing, and was dehydrated and hungry as well.
The dog is recovering, and was taken to a veterinarian today, to get x-rays of its head and leg. The dog will go into foster care tonight once the vet's office has released it from their care.
